590 g across the shoulders, in something that reads as a scarf. For an older child who has stopped accepting anything that looks like equipment, that is the point.
The weight travels with them instead of pinning them to a chair, and two pockets give busy hands somewhere to go.
Wear it for the journey to school or the corridor between lessons, not all day.
Highlights & Tips
- It reads as a scarf. For an older child who has stopped accepting anything that looks like equipment, that is the whole reason this works.
- Weight across the shoulders, not the lap. It goes with the child instead of pinning them to a chair.
- Two pockets for busy hands. Somewhere to hide a fidget, or to add more weight as the child adjusts.
- Wear it for the hard part of the day. The journey to school, the corridor between lessons, the bit that reliably goes wrong. Not all day.
- Hand wash. A machine will shift the pellets and the weight stops sitting evenly.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much weight should my child wear?
Never more than 10% of the child's body weight. The weights are removable, so start with fewer than you think and add only if needed. Please follow your own therapist's guidance where you have it.
How long should the vest be worn?
In short, scheduled periods rather than all day — commonly around 20 minutes on, then off. Worn continuously it stops working, because the body adjusts to constant input.
How do I wash a weighted product?
Remove the weights first where they come out — the vest weight packets lift out and must be taken out before washing. Minky weighted blankets can be machine washed on a gentle cycle and must be air dried; never tumble dry, as heat damages both the bead fill and the fabric. Lap pads, weighted soft toys and bead bags with sealed fill are spot clean only. Check the seams regularly and stop using anything that leaks fill.
Do you deliver across the UAE?
Yes. We deliver to all seven emirates. Most orders arrive within 2–3 business days. Shipping is AED 35 on orders under AED 250 and free on orders of AED 250 or more. Bulky items may take longer, and we will contact you with a timeframe if that applies.
