Setup & Installation
No assembly required. Slide the weights into the vest pockets before first use.
Begin with fewer weights than you expect to end up with, distributed evenly on both sides so the vest hangs level. Add more only once the child is comfortable and the current load is doing something. The total worn should never exceed 10 per cent of the child's body weight.
Washing: remove the weights first and fasten all closures. Machine wash the vest cold with like colours and dry flat. Surface wash the weights and air dry them. Never tumble dry either.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I wash a weighted product?
Remove the weights first where they come out — the vest weight packets lift out and must be taken out before washing. Minky weighted blankets can be machine washed on a gentle cycle and must be air dried; never tumble dry, as heat damages both the bead fill and the fabric. Lap pads, weighted soft toys and bead bags with sealed fill are spot clean only. Check the seams regularly and stop using anything that leaks fill.
