A soft fleece vest that looks like ordinary outerwear and works like a regulation tool. The removable weights give steady proprioceptive input through the shoulders and torso, helping children settle and stay focused — and because it reads as a normal hooded vest, it can be worn in class or out of the house without drawing attention.

  • Provides proprioceptive input to support focus and emotional regulation
  • Well suited to children and teens with ADHD, sensory processing differences, anxiety or autism
  • Removable weights let you adjust the load to the individual child
  • Classic styling — looks like everyday clothing, not equipment
  • Age 6+

Ideas for Use

  • Wear during table work or homework to support sustained attention
  • Use for transitions and outings, where a full therapy vest would feel conspicuous
  • Start with fewer weights and build up gradually as the child adjusts

Details:

  • Sizes available: Small, Medium, Large
  • Vest weighs 240–310g depending on size
  • Includes 900g of weights in total — two 225g pieces and four 113g pieces
  • Body: 65% cotton, 35% polyester. Pockets and trim: 100% polyester. Zip: POM plastic
  • Weights: 100% cotton filled with steel pellets
  • Remove weights before washing. Machine wash cold with like colours, dry flat. Surface wash the weights and air dry

Safety Guidelines

Use with adult guidance. Never use to cover the face or restrict a child's movement. The wearer should be able to remove the vest without help. Do not allow the vest to be worn during sleep. Always use weighted products with guidance from a therapist, and adjust the weights gradually to suit the individual. The total weight should never exceed 10% of body weight.
