- Not suitable for children under 3, or for any child who still puts objects in their mouth.
- These are a choking hazard, and if swallowed they keep absorbing water and expand inside the body. This can cause a blockage that does not show on an X-ray. Seek medical help immediately if a child swallows one.
- Never put them in or near the ears or nose.
- Keep away from pets.
- Count them out and count them back in.
- Wet beads on a hard floor are a slip hazard.

How do I store putty, water beads and instant snow?
Return putty to its sealed container after every use and keep it away from carpet, upholstery, hair and clothing. Discard it if it becomes sticky, crumbly or discoloured. Expanded water beads and instant snow keep for several days sealed and can be rehydrated if they shrink — discard them if they turn cloudy, slimy or start to smell. Never pour either down a drain; they expand and block pipes.
