One snap-and-sort piece with 15 colored buttons to push through, match and sort.
Snapping is button practice in disguise — pushing a button through until it clicks uses the same pinch and push a real buttonhole needs, with none of the frustration of doing it on a shirt they're wearing. Sort them by color first; it's a whole activity on its own and settles a child before the harder part.
Highlights & Tips
- Snapping is button practice in disguise. Pushing a piece through until it clicks uses the same pinch and push a button through a buttonhole needs — with none of the frustration of doing it on a shirt they are wearing.
- Sort before you build. Sorting the buttons by color first is a whole activity on its own, and it settles a child into the task before the harder part starts.
- Two hands, different jobs. One hand holds while the other pushes. That is the same split every fastener, zip and lid in daily life requires.
