Sensory Marble Maze Mat

Why It Works

• Slow, repeating movement with a clear start and finish is what makes a fidget calming rather than just something to do.
• The marble is sealed in, so there is nothing to lose and nothing to drop.

How to use

• It works one-handed and needs no looking, so it can sit on a lap during a lesson or a conversation.

OT Tip

• Ask the child to trace the maze slowly rather than quickly. Slowing a repeated movement down is a small piece of self-regulation, and it is easier to practise here than in a moment that matters.

1 × Sensory Marble Maze Mat with one marble sealed inside

• Anxiety and restlessness
• Quiet fidgeting in classrooms, waiting rooms and cars
• All ages

Sealed marble.

• Adult supervision is highly recommended. The marble is sealed inside — if the fabric splits, withdraw the mat immediately, as a loose marble is a choking hazard.
• Inspect the seams before each use.
• Not suitable for children under 3.
