- The child must be able to take them off themselves.

- Check the fabric for thinning and withdraw them if the stretch has gone.
- Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle. Dry flat.

Machine wash cool on a gentle cycle with like colours and air dry flat. No tumble drying, no bleach, no fabric softener — heat and softener both destroy the elastane that provides the compression. Replace the item when the stretch has gone or the fabric has thinned. A garment that no longer springs back is no longer giving pressure.
