A whole calm corner in one box. Somewhere to go, something to quiet the noise, something heavy, and something to push against.
Set it up on a calm day and let the child explore it with nothing at stake, because a tent put up mid meltdown is one more change to cope with.
The forty two calming cards are for the adult as much as the child.
Highlights & Tips
- A whole calm corner in one box. Somewhere to go, something to reduce the noise, something heavy and something to push against. Those four things are what a calm down space actually needs.
- Set it up before it is needed. A tent put up during a meltdown is another change to cope with. Build the corner on a calm day and let the child explore it with nothing at stake.
- The cards are for the adult as much as the child. Forty two strategies means you are not trying to think of one in the moment.
- Let them choose the order. Some children need the tent first, some need the heavy work first. Which one they reach for tells you a lot.
- Not a punishment corner. The moment a calm space is used as a consequence, the child stops going there willingly and the kit stops working.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I choose the right weight?
As a general guide a weighted blanket is around 10% of the child's body weight. This 5lb (2.27 kg) blanket suits a child of roughly 22 kg upward. If your child sits between two sizes, choose the lighter one and message us — we are happy to advise.
How do I wash a weighted product?
Remove the weights first where they come out — the vest weight packets lift out and must be taken out before washing. Minky weighted blankets can be machine washed on a gentle cycle and must be air dried; never tumble dry, as heat damages both the bead fill and the fabric. Lap pads, weighted soft toys and bead bags with sealed fill are spot clean only. Check the seams regularly and stop using anything that leaks fill.
Do you deliver across the UAE?
Yes. We deliver to all seven emirates. Most orders arrive within 2–3 business days. Shipping is AED 35 on orders under AED 250 and free on orders of AED 250 or more. Bulky items may take longer, and we will contact you with a timeframe if that applies.
