Setup & Installation
No assembly required. Use the blanket on its own rather than on top of a duvet - layering it defeats the point and makes it far too warm for this climate.
For the first few nights, put it on at the start of the wind-down rather than once someone is already lying awake, and try it over the legs before the whole body. The user decides when it goes on and when it comes off.
Washing: machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with like colours, and air dry flat. Never tumble dry - heat damages both the minky pile and the glass bead fill. Do not iron, bleach or dry clean. Check the seams each time you wash it and stop using the blanket if any bead escapes.

How do I wash a weighted product?
Remove the weights first where they come out — the vest weight packets lift out and must be taken out before washing. Minky weighted blankets can be machine washed on a gentle cycle and must be air dried; never tumble dry, as heat damages both the bead fill and the fabric. Lap pads, weighted soft toys and bead bags with sealed fill are spot clean only. Check the seams regularly and stop using anything that leaks fill.
