A 12 x 12 cm strawberry, big enough for a two handed squeeze. Bigger means stronger calming input than a small desk fidget gives.
Soft and squishy rather than firm, so it suits a child who wants something to press into rather than push against.
Highlights & Tips
- At 12 cm it needs two hands. A full hand squeeze gives far more proprioceptive input, the calming feeling that comes from pushing and squeezing, than a small desk fidget.
- Pair it with breathing. Squeeze as you breathe out, release as you breathe in. Ten slow repetitions.
- Better as a set break than something left on the desk all day. Useful at home, in the car, and anywhere a child needs a few minutes to reset.
