A full-body Lycra sock a child climbs inside and pushes, pulls and stretches against. The resistance is the therapy — every push sends feedback from the joints and muscles back to the brain, and that input is what tells a child where their body is and where it ends.
It's the input that settles a dysregulated child fastest, and it works just as well for teens. Give them something to do inside it — reach for a target, make a shape, push against the wall — and they'll work for ten minutes instead of one. 69 x 119 cm, one size.
Adult supervision at all times.
Highlights & Tips
- The resistance is the therapy. Every push and stretch sends feedback from the joints and muscles back to the brain. That proprioceptive input is what tells a child where their body is and where it ends — and it is the input that calms a dysregulated child fastest.
- Give them something to do inside it. Reach for a target, make a shape, walk to the wall and push. Aimless wriggling loses interest in a minute; a task keeps them working for ten.
- Use it before the hard part of the day, not after the meltdown. Ten minutes before homework, or straight after school, does more than ten minutes once things have already gone wrong.
- Teens use it too. Deep pressure does not stop working at eleven. Check the size against height rather than age.

Adult supervision at all times. A child inside a body sock cannot see out properly and cannot always get out quickly.
- Not suitable for children under 3 years.
- Clear the space first — no stairs, corners, glass, hard edges or furniture within reach.
- Never pull the opening over the head and face, and never let a child sleep or be left alone in it.
- Teach them how to get out before they get in, and stop the moment the child wants to stop.
- Check the seams before each use and retire it if the fabric thins or tears.
