A weighted squeeze that provides deep pressure and compression at the same time. More discreet than a weighted vest, with the same sensations.
The weights are removable, so the load can be matched to any child.
Start with two rather than six and add a pair at a time. Move them between the pockets, because front, back and sides all feel different.
Highlights & Tips
- Two kinds of input from one belt. The hook and loop closure gives squeeze, the weights give load. You can use either on its own, or both.
- Nobody can see it. Under a shirt it is invisible, which is why an older child will keep it on when they have refused a vest.
- Start with two weights. Six is the maximum, not the target. Add a pair at a time over a few days and stop when the child settles.
- Move them around. Two large pockets or four small ones. Front, back or sides all feel different, and children have clear preferences.
- For the hard hour, not the whole day. The body stops registering steady input, so a belt worn all day does less than one worn for a lesson.

Safety Guidelines

- Never worn during sleep.
- Never used to cover the face or restrict movement.
- Around the hips or waist only, and snug rather than tight. It should not affect breathing.
- The total weight worn should never exceed 10% of the child's body weight, counting everything weighted they have on.
- Use with guidance from a therapist, and build the weight up gradually.
- Remove the weights before washing. Machine wash cold gentle, hang dry.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much weight should my child wear?
Never more than 10% of the child's body weight. The weights are removable, so start with fewer than you think and add only if needed. Please follow your own therapist's guidance where you have it.
How long should the vest be worn?
In short, scheduled periods rather than all day — commonly around 20 minutes on, then off. Worn continuously it stops working, because the body adjusts to constant input.
How do I wash a weighted product?
Remove the weights first where they come out — the vest weight packets lift out and must be taken out before washing. Minky weighted blankets can be machine washed on a gentle cycle and must be air dried; never tumble dry, as heat damages both the bead fill and the fabric. Lap pads, weighted soft toys and bead bags with sealed fill are spot clean only. Check the seams regularly and stop using anything that leaks fill.
Do you deliver across the UAE?
Yes. We deliver to all seven emirates. Most orders arrive within 2–3 business days. Shipping is AED 35 on orders under AED 250 and free on orders of AED 250 or more. Bulky items may take longer, and we will contact you with a timeframe if that applies.
